A Handbook of Children and Young People's Participation, edited by Barry Percy-Smith and Nigel Thomas, includes discussions on challenges facing issues of participation, contextual aspects, as well as theoretical and methodological reflections about projects and practice. The book includes chapters by prominent members of the Childwatch International Research Network.

Caribbean Counter-Trafficking Newsletter.

Dear Partners,

Please find attached the June edition of IOM’s Caribbean Counter-Trafficking Newsletter. As part of our effort to strengthen the regional network through information-sharing, IOM Washington is pleased to circulate this newsletter, showcasing the initiatives undertaken by our Caribbean partners to counter trafficking in persons. The newsletter creates a forum for governments, non-governmental organizations, and law enforcement agencies in the region to update each other about national activities that address human trafficking. In addition to sharing the newsletter with more than 500 Caribbean partners, it will be available on IOM Washington’s website (http://www.iom.int/unitedstates/ct/ctRegionalCollaboration.htm) and distributed through IOM’s global counter-trafficking network. At this time, IOM welcomes your Caribbean counter-trafficking coalition to submit a short article (250-300 words) for the September edition. Suggested topics may include, but are not limited to, the following: The national counter-trafficking strategy for 2010Counter-trafficking trainings and legislative initiatives Establishing a national referral mechanismSuccess stories On behalf of IOM, please allow me to express our appreciation of your involvement in the Caribbean’s response to combat human trafficking.
